3 Attempt to Cut Through U.S.-Mexico Border Fence: Agents
NBC San Diego ^ | Friday, Mar 14, 2014 | R. Stickney

A man spotted trying to cut through the fence along the U.S.-Mexico border was arrested at his home in Tijuana, officials confirmed Friday. An image from surveillance video shows the suspect using ladders and cutting tools near the San Ysidro Port of Entry. Because the man was on the Mexico side of the border, investigators with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection contacted authorities in Mexico. The police were able to track the suspect to his home in Colonia Libertad where they arrested him. Agents said the 24-year-old man along with two other men – a 19-year-old and a 52-year-old – were attempting to create a tunnel under the stainless-steel mesh fence that would exit on the U.S. side of the border. To report suspicious activity to the U.S. Border Patrol, contact San Diego Sector at (619) 498-9900.

Guess they couldn’t find the tunnel.

Huh, they are still arresting these people. I thought they were being waved through and given EBT cards, Obamaphones, Obamacare cards, unemployment, and driver’s licenses on their way in...Am I wrong?

And hey, have a baby here while committing the crime and viola, the child is a legal resident. But by God don’t you dare make them learn English…Brilliant!

When I was in the Mexican Baja in 2009 my guide took me to see the building with the tunnel that had just been discovered by the Feds. It had airconditioning, lights, etc.

He said that enterprising people had designed ladders to breech the wall. If you paid, they’d put a ladder on both sides and you could climb over. For a bit more you’d be picked up on the other side. He said that it might not be safe as once they stuffed you in a car trunk anything might happen to you.

The border patrol stopped us on the US side and they searched our car. They do that periodically. (Or, did. Given what Obama’s doing I don’t know why they’d bother now.)

Are BP agents supposed to run away when they see this?

I know it is rasciisss, but our old running joke in SoCal used to be:

Let's go down near the border and go target shooting at can.

Tin cans?

No, Mexi-cans.....

Yeah, yeah, some hyper sensitive mod will probably pull this, but we used to think it was funny forty years ago.

Mexicans: The US’s Original Home Invaders.

Until fedgov lets BP exercise the Castle Doctrine they are failing their constitutional duty to protect the country from external threats/foreign invaders.

“...our old running joke in [Arizona]”

Q: Why doesn't Mexico have a very good Olympic team?

A: Because any Mexican that can run, jump, or swim is in the US.

How silly. He could have walked down a few hundred feet and found an already downed barbed wire fence for easy access.
