Black GOP hopes for banner 2014

....While GOP enthusiasm mounts for a retake of the Senate, the Republican National Committee is spicing up its Black minority outreach operations. Not that there’s any expectation of a sudden groundswell of grassroots support for the GOP from African Americans — in fact, most observers laugh that off as fiction. But, Republican strategists hope that this Congressional midterm cycle could give Black voters something to think about, or maybe pause long enough to take a broader look at the political landscape.

“The response to the RNC’s initiative to engage Black voters and share our positive message has been phenomenal,” said an eternally optimistic Orlando Watson, a fairly new Communications Director for Black Media at GOP party central. “We still have work to do. It will take time. But our efforts have been paying off and will continue to do so.”

Blacks were originally Republican, because Republicans were (and ARE) pro-FREEDOM.

Time for us to get the truth out to the black community....via black messengers to whom they will listen.

Just as long as the GOP doesn’t try to run a Carlton Banks type. Right off the top I would go to Rick Ector in Detroit to ask if he would be interested in doing some outreach.

Trying to capture Jim Moran's open seat in northern Virginia is Micah Edmond.

Why? I mean really. Why? How has life for blacks been since they have gone democrat?

This is a city run by democrats for forty years. It is a ruin. This deserves undying black support? The only reason blacks are still democrat, after forty years of failure of democrat policies to improve their lives, is that the Republicans play nice and don't fight for them.

The Michigan GOP is making moves on Detroit and I’m glad to see it.

Blacks/African Americans continue to experience the most severe burden of HIV, compared with other races and ethnicities.

Blacks represent approximately 12% of the U.S. population, but accounted for an estimated 44% of new HIV infections in 2010. They also accounted for 44% of people living with HIV infection in 20091, 2.

From: HIV IN THE UNITED STATES: AT A GLANCE

Ok, which party is more condoning of the behavior which transmits HIV? Democrats. Which party embraces the behavior that would stop the transmission of HIV within the Black community> Conservatives. So again, why should blacks stick with democrats?

This article is a joke and pathetic for its premise and implications.

We don’t view candidates as novelties, much less tokens.

Blacks, at this point, have done far more to “their community” and demonstrating that race is their identity, the content of their character being nothing more than grievance shucksters.

As well, that they vote 90%+ Democrat, only serves to further marginalize themselves, while proving the apparently don’t mind being some pejorative of a cheapened identity but, worse prove they value being ***Objectified*** more than anything else....

STDs By the Numbers: How the African American Community is Affected

Chlamydia: Almost Half of Reported Cases among Blacks It is estimated that 2.8 million new chlamydia cases occur in the United States each year, but more than half remain undiagnosed and unreported.5 Still, chlamydia remains the most commonly reported infectious disease in the United States. It affects blacks,* who account for nearly half of the more than 1.2 million reported chlamydia cases (48 percent or 593,428 cases), more than other racial/ethnic groups of the United States. Women bear a heavier chlamydia burden than men, which is especially concerning, given that untreated chlamydia can lead to infertility in women. Because chlamydia is so common and can cause infertility, CDC recommends annual screening for sexually active young women.

Elder poverty rates are twice as high among Blacks and Latinos compared to the US elder population as a whole

Forty years of voting democrat and they are still poor. Those votes really paid off. Good thing the GOP never brings this fact up, it might upset the apple cart.

OK I found Wayne Bradley and he’s exactly the kind of guy we need. He’s not some kind of clown who tries to play white.

Women of all races bring home less income and own fewer assets, on average, than men of the same race, but for single black women the disparities are so overwhelmingly great that even in their prime working years their median wealth amounts to only $5.

Among the most startling revelations in the wealth data is that while single white women in the prime of their working years (ages 36 to 49) have a median wealth of $42,600 (still only 61 percent of their single white male counterparts), the median wealth for single black women is only $5.

Study finds median wealth for single black women at $5

The democrat party thanks everyone for not bringing this fact up during an election year. Just keep voting democrat, and stop asking questions.

Time for us to get the truth out to the black community
_____________________________________________________________
Truths such as:

1. Abraham Lincoln, who freed the slaves, was a Republican.

2. It was the Southern Democrats who kept Blacks suppressed until the 60’s. The Civil Rights Movement actually started in the late ‘50s under Dwight Eisenhower, a Republican.

In 2012, there were more black babies killed by abortion (31,328) in New York City than were born there (24,758), and the black children killed comprised 42.4% of the total number of abortions in the Big Apple, according to a report by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. - See more at: http://cnsnews.com/news/article/michael-w-chapman/nyc-more-black-babies-killed-abortion-born#sthash.P2sojKoD.dpuf

Nothing says love like extermination, and democrats love black people. The democrats want to thank the republicans for not harping on this issue. Social issues aren't winning issues anyway.

I talked to CL Bryant about black history month and he made a lot of sense. Rather than fighting against it, he suggests that conservatives both black and white should claim our rightful place in black history and use it to educate. We can worry about shifting it to American history month down the road once the democrat hold is broken.

Simple Blacks & Hispanics have been thrown under the bus by Obama...for the simple reason he wants to keep them chained to economic and opportunity slavery!!! Obama cares about only one thing, keeping their votes for the Democrat party!!! The same goes for the NAACP & CBC....neither are interested in anything but holding their political power by using racism and freebies...that just allow Blacks to survive on the dole!!!

Hopefully......many African-Americans will come to their senses and become all that they are capable of and can be!!! They and HIspanics need to broom Obama right now!!! Republicans...push charter schools, private education, private internships, tax free economic zones is depressed areas, family stablity, drug controls, fewer aborations, community spirit, assimilation into general American Society for all minorities, freedom, liberty, the value of the “individual” and meaningful opportunities. Obama is doing none of this...maybe words....but no concrete actions!!! Time for action from Republicans is right now!!!

Exactly, and this is the message that black conservatives need to be empowered by the Republican party to deliver to black voters...and YOUNG VOTERS, especially.
