The road to Damascus is a bumpy journey.... Just ask Saul! When I read the article my mind went not to Paul but to King Nebuchadnezzar.
Because of his pride, God took his kingdom, turned all of his friends against him, even took his very sanity away from him so that he lived as a wild animal, eating grass in the field (dementia?).

Exactly. I never heard that they protested actual gay people’s funerals. They chose the military to dump their hatred on. Gay people can forgive him all they want....it’s the military families whose funerals were disrupted.

I would be surprised if it is a tax dodge. Get all of his assets under church name and have his family... er, uh, I mean church excommunicate him before he dies so there’s no probate or inheritance tax on his estate.

Is there a web cam on him? I’m betting the end will be like the scenes from Ghost when the shrieking black shadows come up from underground to claim one of their own.

They announced a planned protest at the funeral of some murdered Amish kids but offered to cancel it if they were given television news airtime.
It’s good that God loves them because they arouse very unchristian feelings in me.

In scanning the article, no one knows...or is saying...why Phelps was ex-communicated from his own church. The "church family" is being mum about it. No mention of Fred's condition is being made on their website. Maybe he was caught with his "pickle" in the pickle slicer - who also happens to be male.

What say I?
I say who cares and why are you pushing the liberal left agenda and narrative?

And Im still curious as to what he possibly could have done to get himself ex-communicated from his own church. Church and family are synonymous with them. The family hates one another as much as all of their other "hates". They are truly a crazy, dysfunctional bunch.
To: hoagy62
No, you don’t know if you are still asking ludicrous questions like, “what he possibly could have done to get himself ex-communicated from his own church”.
To: hoagy62
He was an evil man, and I hope he enjoys his eternity burning in the pits of Hell.

Sorry but Phelps’s beliefs are the real deal. He went to Bob Jones U. as a young man among other Baptist colleges and even as a young man he was crusading against various sinful activities on campus.

If Westboro Baptist is just a front to make all Christians look like hate-filled nuts, then perhaps he was excommunicated because he found Christ, for real.
