Russia Overtakes Germany To Become Europes Largest Economy
Gross domestic product 2012: Russia - $3,373,16 million; Italy - $2,018,43 million
Sadly, even though the standard of living in Russia is pathetic by western standards, it's a big step up relative to that in Ukraine, Moldova, and various other former Soviet Republics.
