“Democrat Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire just found out that she will be challenged by former Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts”

So we have a democrat being challenged by a Rhino Democrat. What are they worried about?

You got that right. The RINOs are 100 percent supporting Brown, refugee from MA, and he’ll lose to Shaheen. That’s the RINO plan, maybe Brown knows, maybe not. NH is very strong on gun rights, and democrat Shaheen has a better voting record than republican Brown.
The RINOs plan is to split the conservative vote, and throw the nomination to Brown, who will then lose to Shaheen. Brown has virtually no chance of carrying the base in NH. They would rather have the seat stay with the dems than let a conservative win. They do it every time in NH, and get away with it, mostly. They know Brown will lose, that he can’t win the general against Shaheen. Gunnies in NH don’t care about titles or labels, just guns. That’s how Shaheen wins.
This is the beginning of the RINO sellout, like Dole in ‘96. Poor Bob was already a two-time loser in presidential politics, and after killing the Contract With America in the Senate, he was DOA with conservatives. Didn’t matter. They were place holding for W in 2000. George W couldn’t win if another republican won in ‘96, so they made sure the nominee was somewhat plausible, i.e., Senate Majority Leader, but no way he was going to win the general election without the support of the base. Getting W elected was the one thing Old Man Bush wanted after losing to Clinton in ‘92, he wanted it real bad, and he controlled the GOP nomination process, and still does.
They did it again with Romney in ‘12, another plausability, but no chance without the base. They don’t care about the damage to the country that Clinton did with his 2nd term, or Obama either. They’re saving ‘16 for Jeb. The Bush’s have a stranglehold on the GOP, since ‘89, and they’re not letting go, ever. They lost control temporarily in the ‘80s, and they didn’t like the result. Not gonna happen again, no way, no how.
