State TV says Russia could turn US to 'radioactive ash'

Moscow (AFP) - A leading anchor on Russian state television on Sunday described Russia as the only country capable of turning the United States into "radioactive ash", in an incendiary comment at the height of tensions over the Crimea referendum.

"Russia is the only country in the world realistically capable of turning the United States into radioactive ash," anchor Dmitry Kiselyov said on his weekly news show on state-controlled Rossiya 1 television.

Yes, I know. Putin gave him awards, but still he is like a drama queen, no? Russian TV is very different than ours.

They can be really really out there. So this made me laugh.

In fact you can find Dugyn’s website on the net fairly easily and it is downright frightening. I am at work or I would pull it up....but not here.

The only sad thing is—he’s right. That’s something we should remember—They have the ultimate weapon and can fry us—just as we could fry them. In 1936 Hitler had no such thing—even in 1938. What does this say—Tread with care? No one wants WW III over a bit of land that should have been Russian in the first place.
