That reveals your ignorance. A lot of us aren't stupid and have done tons of study of communist disinformation and tactics. There's never been a more insidious and dangerous force for the United States and world peace than the KGB, and these soviet structures were never removed. In fact, these "structures" were merely renamed, and now, literally, represent the actual government of Russia itself.
Until communism and its crimes are formerly denounced on the world stage, and de-communization takes place in Russia, there will never be peace. That is why Putin, despite all his Orthodox Pretentions, is still aiding and abetting communist movements across the planet.

I have no idea why it doesn’t occur to people like you that the people in Crimea actually DO want to join with Russia.

So ... maybe those voting in favor of joining Russia ... are just voting for up to THREE TIMES higher pensions...
