Paul E. Vallely is a retired US Army Major General and senior military analyst for Fox News. He served in the Vietnam War and retired in 1993 as Deputy Commanding General, Pacific Command.

In 2004, together with retired Air Force Lieutenant General Thomas McInerney, Vallely co-authored the book Endgame: The Blueprint for Victory in the War on Terror.

Vallely currently serves as the Military Committee Chairman for the Center for Security Policy and has lent his support to the organization Veteran Defenders of America.

We moved the event to the church because our normal meeting place only seats about 100 and that is usually close to being maxed out.

It's been a while since I've been to this particular church but going by memory, I would estimate it seats about 500.

There was a meeting at Glad Tidings awhile back for the possibility of the state dividing and Yuba Sutter would be in the state of Jefferson. Since you apparantly live in that area what are your thought of that also being a reality that Calif. would split into five parts?

I've heard of the effort to split California into six states. I don't hold out much hope that will happen.

However, there is a lot of enthusiasm up here for the State of Jefferson.
