From 3 months ago:
"TUCSON - Thirty one Bighorn sheep that were relocated to the Catalina mountains Monday are thriving, according to Arizona Game and Fish officials. Their movements are being tracked using GPS collars. News 4 Tucson was given insight into their first few hours on their new turf. If you live in, or visit Pusch Ridge grab your binoculars, you're in for a sight...The cost of the project is around $600,000. It's funded by private donations and fees from hunting and fishing licenses."
From a week ago:
"Officials said a mountain lion killed the ewe they found in the Catalinas Sunday. Hunters tracked and killed the offending mountain lion. The 15th death was discovered on Tuesday, when a dead ram was found. The cause of the ram's death is under investigation. Out of the 6 relocated rams, 1 is still alive."
From today:
"TUCSON - Game and Fish has reported a mountain lion has killed another relocated bighorn sheep. This is the 16th death so far of the 31 sheep who were moved from a mountain area near Yuma to the Catalinas."
Your hunting fees at work. I guess it could be worse...if Tucson or Pima County got hold of the cash, it would be lining the pockets of brother-in-laws or building bike trails to nowhere.
We’re stuck on stupid.
Bighorn sheep dying at the same time a plane full of people disappears?
This is really suspicious.

Gee...I think they have finally figured out that little mystery...
They were on the menu...
Looks like they need to have $600k literacy program for the bighorn sheep.
Hmm...dead bighorn sheep. Blood trails. Half-eaten carcasses. Mountain lions with stuffed bellies. There has to be a connection here, but I’m just not seeing it...
Sounds like a more liberal lion tag policy would be in order. Say, 2 or 3 per year instead of just one.
How about a mountain lion project to populate the Texan thru Arizona border areas. Border guards don’t have any work to do there, at least some cats can be kept fed.
A friend was telling me of a pair of hunters in his party who were confronted by a mountain lion near Williams, Arizona (west of Flagstaff). He said that they were perplexed on how to react since they thought they would be in trouble if they shot it. I asked why they didn’t fire a warning shot. My friend pointed out that they were bow hunting! :)
HEY, NOW!!!?...I'm a cougar fan from way back....MrsSgtBob is now a cougar8^)>
A lot of the singles bar owners would object I'm sure.

“Out of the 6 relocated rams, 1 is still alive.”
There’s your prime suspect. He wants all the females for himself. Kind of like The Professor taking out all the others so he could be alone with Ginger and Mary Ann.
are there Mooslims?
Dear environmentalist group, thank you for the hors d’ouevres you most graciously sent to us. Please send the next shipment with finishing sauce and some toothpicks.
Sincerely,
The Cats.....Burpppp
