NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- State police are searching for an unlikely suspect in a western Pennsylvania hit-and-run accident: the driver of an Amish buggy.
Troopers from the Mercer barracks say the buggy twice hit a passenger vehicle at a crossroads on Route 158 in Wilmington Township, about 6 p.m. Sunday.
The buggy then left the scene and its driver has yet to be identified.
Police say the victim is a woman who owns a Honda CRV, a crossover vehicle that was struck on its left side.
Nobody was hurt in the crash.

Ack!
My first horse-sized horse, Gidget.
She had a hard mouth and empty head.
I cannot count the times she took me for a Wild Ride from wherever we were, back to the house which included a 90 degree high speed turn into the yard.
If she came home “empty”, nobody came to look for me.
They knew what had happened.
She’d bolted near a low hanging branch or something and eventually, I’d show up, walking.
She was some kinda “first horse”.
Made a great hellbent for leather rider out of me, though.
LOL

Oh, yes...they were.
I’m sure you won’t be too shocked to hear that my “dream car” would be a big black hearse with the most radical fins possible.
[and a Hemi dropped in it]

Crazy nag didn’t answer to *anything*, least of all “whoa”.
:D
And my God, she was fast...which is exactly what you want in a horse who suddenly bolts.

she had to try passing the buggy on her left side (right of the buggy) or the buggy was passing her on the left sidefalse dichotomy; there are more that two possible scenarios.
