The engines communicate directly with Boeing, always ensuring they’re functioning properly. They can’t be shut off in the sky.

I never heard they were sending coordinates, but I kind of figured they might be.

I didn't either. But I do remember hearing a few days ago something about sending out a notification to Boeing if the plane landed.
