A pizza delivery woman thwarted an armed robbery attempt at a house off Rosehill Road on Thursday by producing a weapon of her own, Fayetteville police said.

The man put something to the back of Hurd's head and demanded money, Joyce said.

"Unbeknownst to them, she had a weapon," Joyce said.

"She pulled out a gun, and when she did, the suspects fled and they didn't get anything."

Probably did not have a gun. Even if he did, action beats reaction.

Today in a local newspaper was a headline story of a business having been robbed three times in the past month. As my Better Half and I discussed this, we both agreed, it was an advertisement to criminals to help criminals in their quest for easy robberies.

It wouldn’t be surprising to find out Domino’s fired her for packing heat while doing deliveries.

A few years ago I used to deliver for Dominos on top of the full time job I had to help get my family out of an apartment we landed in after losing a job in 2009.

Carried a .38 with me the whole time, but never got robbed.

That girl must be new to Fayetteville. Locals know that when you have to pull your gun in Fayetteville, you better pull and shoot. Brandishing will only get you killed.

If she doesn't wise up, I'm afraid she won't last long in that town.
