Russia's State Duma today approved the admission of the Republic Of Crimea and the City Of Sevastopol as the new federal subjects of the Russian Federation today. The treaty ratification and adoption of the corresponding constitutional amendment listing them in Article 65 of the Russian Constitution was 445 votes in favor and 1 vote against. Tomorrow it will be considered by the upper house - the Federation Council - and upon its concurrence, the process will be formally complete.
