So what's up with the light bulb ban, anyway?
I notice them in the stores still...

Can you find any 100 watt bulbs in stores?

The 100 and 75 watt bulbs are almost impossible to find these days. You are probably not seeing anything over 60 watts in the stores.

The ban kicks in over time with the 100 watt bulbs outlawed one year, and 75 watt bulbs the next, etc.

My anger over this has dissipated somewhat as I already have a lifetime supply of incandescent bulbs.

Now, about those gas cans...

They didn’t ban all bulbs at once.

The banned 100 watt and above first, now I think its 75 watt and above this year, 50 watt and above next year, then all gone.

I was working at a hardware store when the 100 watts went away. We had a closeout of 5 cents a bulb. I pulled out a twenty and took home a bunch...should last me a while.
