Tapper: White House Concerned Russia Could Invade Ukraine as Soon as This Weekend

Quoting unnamed administration officials, CNN host Jake Tapper revealed that the White House is “concerned” that Russia could invade South and East Ukraine “possibly as soon as this weekend.” He said that, in spite of Russia’s assurances that the large numbers of troops and military equipment amassed along the Ukrainian border are there merely for training exercises, the White House believes that Moscow could be planning a broader incursion into Ukraine.

“There is now real apprehension that Vladimir Putin could push even further into Ukraine, perhaps as soon as this weekend,” Tapper said. He quoted anonymous administration officials who are “concerned” that the Russians are not being honest when they claim that the troops stationed along the Ukrainian border are not preparing for an invasion.

Russian officials have assured the administration that they are only conducting military exercises. “But, Obama administration officials have received intelligence suggesting there is reason to be skeptical of Russia’s claims,”Tapper continued, “and that Russia, as soon as in the coming days, could use any number of pretexts to justify pushing its military incursions deeper into Ukraine.”

The CNN host added that such an invasion could be carried out by Russia so quickly that Western nations would barely have the opportunity to “raise objections” over it.

Kiev, you’re on your own.

“I know past presidents spouted a lot of rhetoric about freedom and democracy, well, that’s for us. We didn’t actually mean it for people like you. Besides, UConn and ‘Nova are tipping off any minute so this is really bad timing and, well, Putin is not really such a bad guy and frankly my administration would be doing the same thing if they could trade places so just live with being a puppet of a gargantuan central government. It’s good for you, really. You’ll love bread lines and death panels if you’ll just give it a chance.

What’s that? You’ve already tried it and it sucked which is why you left it? Aw, c’mon. See? It’s that right-wing Tea Party attitude that gets you guys hatred from progressive governments like ours. Hold on....

THAT’S A FOUL! DAMMIT! ARE YOU BLIND, SUCKAH? FUGGIN HONKY REFS!

Oh, sorry. Well, like I was saying, you’ll love communism once you give it a try. Sorry we couldn’t be there to defend you. Umm, later.”

I know. The Crimeans did not want to join Russia in February. Only 41% wanted to do so.

Many Signs Pointed to Crimea Independence Vote — But Polls Didn’t

But with the occupation, non-stop propaganda on TV, and just a "little" voter fraud, they changed to an overwhelming 97% desire to be annexed to Russia. Shazam!

In other Ukraine news: BREAKING NEWS: Defiant Ukrainian commander orders his outnumbered men to 'stand their ground' and expect to engage with Russian troops surrounding the military base This might get ugly. It appears there may be snipers posted around this base.

So, what is zero doing about it? Nothing, that’s what. He is a complainer, an agitator, a “community organizer”, that is all. He is no president.

How I suspect that this will end...

1. Russia gives back Crimea to Ukraine (a hollow gesture, see 3)
2. Russia pays back Ukraine’s loans to IMF/EU through cheap energy.
3. Ukraine becomes a puppet state of Russia, in an agreement with the EU and US. The US and EU promise to never interfere there and to allow Russia a free hand in smashing any new Maidan uprising.
4. Russia promises to leave NATO countries alone.

Hoo boy. No wonder you can't find any "chumps" in a bar any more that you can take for easy ten-buck bets. They all went to Washington to work for the White House.

The scary thing is that Obama might do something stupid just to prove he’s a man (which of course, he isn’t).

Kosovo, blast from the past: 1999 - “White House concerned about the genocide of Albanians in Kosovo. Milosevici - a war criminal” blah-blah-blah on CNN

In June 1999, the UN envoy M. Ahtisari and Milosevic met in Belgrade .. Ahtisari explained the terms they got for solving the dispute at UN, and Milosevic asked him, “what will happen if I don’t sign?”
In front of them on the table was a flower vase and Ahtisari moved it away and said, “Belgrade will be like this table” and he swipped across the table with his hand ..

And yet Ahtisari went to win the Nobel peace prize in 2008 ...

“And the press completely ignored the Albanian atrocities against Serbs.”

As a matter of course.
It is written in all letters in CIA “Propaganda strategy for Dummies” Chapter II, paragraph 17.
