Another damned Red Englander sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Mitt and his GOP-e buds allowing another 3000 unborn children to be killed today. Repent, America. Time is short.

He’s full of himself. Idaho with its potato farm rednecks is “righter” than the mushy middle.

Mitt rope-a-doped 2012 away for the GOP.

Romney is so clueless that he can’t establish the connection between his election failure and his rejection of the dreaded “tea party” label.

I pretty much concluded the same.

My mother used to tell me when I was growing up that, "just because a person has a lot of money doesn't mean he knows anything."

Sounds like that applies to Mittens.

I voted for Virgil Goode in 2012, and I live in New Mexico - a swing state.

I'd do the same thing again, and again, and again, and again.........

Bert to fish for voting for a third-party candidate instead of functional amoral leftist Romney:

that is a cop out

Okay, Bert, let's see if you "cop out" on answering this simple question. When you voted "against" Obama, what were you voting FOR? You will cop out and tell me what you were voting against. You will refuse to admit that you voted FOR an overt agent of everything morality and political conservatism stands against.

On the contrary, bert, voting for a pro-abortion-for-minors (you can look it up if you don't believe me), pro-homosexual, pro-global warming, pro-gun control, pro government micro-managed and controlled health care, pro activist judges "Republican" was the real cop out.

Hey, BERT??? And everybody else here who voted for Romney and would do so again in 2016 -- had the bastard won and was now implementing all the amoral tyranny he has advocated and advanced for his ENTIRE political career, who among you would be ACCOUNTABLE for what you voted FOR?

Voting "against" is like voting for the tooth fairy. WAKE UP. Stop letting emotions (namely pure blind fear) dictate your political choices and START THINKING ABOUT THE MATH.

In any election, any where, any time, a thousand years ago or a thousand years from now, in ANY ELECTION, you only get to vote FOR. Those who think they can vote "against" are like those who think they can have ice cream hot.

your conjecture is rationalization. You can’t accept the fact that there were two candidates...... Romney and Obama. You likely chose not to perform the difficult duty and decide which of the two real candidates should get your vote.

All the others were merely pretenders...... pretending to be real, to be relevant. They were not real, irrevelant.

It is far easier to cop out and make no decision. That is what got Obama a second term. Opting out is basically turning your back on your American priviledge to vote.

You don’t win by losing. Its like “leading from behind” as the current administration coined. I voted for a better economy, a strong defense, a chance to change that bad health care law, and foreign policy that does not make America weak. Its that simple.

Not on this article. That quote is not even his.

However, if you want to talk about how he went soft on Obama late during the campaign, I do agree. Playing patty cake after that first debate got him nowhere.

See? I told you. I asked you a simple question -- what were you voting for?

You failed to answer it.

By the way, I didn't opt out of voting. I voted. It angers me when people who should know better stay at home in protest. That's betrayal of blood shed for every American's right to vote. If you're informed, you have a duty to vote even when you don't want to. You USE that vote.

bert, in voting for Romney, you used that vote to confirm leftism whether it lost or won.

I used my vote to confirm conservatism, with a vote that REGISTERS as a rejection of leftism. I voted third party. Perot's plurality split aided conservatism. Liberalism lost in both parties, and conservatism gained; Clinton got slammed with the Republican Revolution his first term, and was impeached in his second. Only a fawning media and crooked elections have made him what he is today. Don't waste your vote on leftism OR on betraying the blood shed for it. Vote for what is right. Romney is wrong, straight down the line.

That's what I voted for and will vote for again if necessary. I've already spent the last several decades following your strategy. When is it going to start working? NEVER.

Do you wonder why, after 20 plus years of voting as you counsel here, the goal of conservatives remains totally elusive?

Because when you vote "against," you're hunting unicorns. Totally elusive prey.

Fair enough.

That Romney would have delivered on those items, health care in particular, is dubious, especially when Republicans in congress lean left. They'd become more brazen and left leaning with Romney. Don't be so sure Romney's foreign policy wouldn't have been disturbing. Are you aware of his stance on global warming and international authority? I am.

With Clinton, the question was, what about a man's character? Look at Romney's political character. He's been responsible for some very bad, ugly, amoral, rank stuff and still thinks it's fine, apparently. Not to mention his firm stance on the concept of tyrannical government health oversight; he believes in it totally; he WROTE the original.

Only bad can come of voluntarily placing that at the top of the nation and at the top of its sole "conservative" representative voice. Romney is corrupt morally, hence his ability to deliver on strong defense and foreign policy is suspect.

Risk is the price you pay for opportunity. Romney's a pretty sure thing, hard amoral left.

A pretty bad risk. Worse than a weakened leftist Democrat instead, facing a Republican party whose image and morale were strengthened by voters' rejection of GOP leftism.

That said, without aggressive defense of honest elections and vote counts, all of this is moot. Romney beat Obama in honest votes, and Reid, Franken, Pelosi, and a huge number of malevolent leftists would be employed outside of government if not for fake votes.

A minority of about one third has seized government force over the other two thirds. They neither perceive their actual size, and we're seeing the natural resistance of a majority getting ticked off at a minority trying to take over.

So what are you going to do, keep praying for liberals to win? Not me, I’m gonna vote against the b-—s every single time.

Romney would be “fixing”obamacare as we speak if he were elected. His fix would keep 95% of it intact and would have muzzled all republican opposition to it

drivel....

You assume that you can get what you want....... always

In voting for Romney I voted for the best of the two candidates that could be elected. Jesus Christ was not on the ballot. I voted for the Republican that was for the best assemblage of traits offered.

There was no pure conservative candidate and based on the disention constantly demonstrated on FRee Republic, there never will be. There is no homogenity in the conserative movement. Principles are so strong that a candidate lacking a single principle will be shunned by some that view life through a paper towel tube.

Not only is Ronald Reagan dead, there is no candidate with his charisma on the horizon. Many Conservatives will therefore again have a chance to be agin the field and continue to cop out
