It is going to be really bad for all of us.
The problem is one of simple economics. When labor demand is low one cannot increase supply and expect anything other than falling wages and fewer jobs. This is the reason we need to secure our border, deport those who have entered illegally and reject any and all notions of amnesty.
We must also reduce legal immigration. Historically the United States government has had a period of assimilation after large rises in immigration. This is to allow for a period of assimilation. The left has used this as an attack on many conservatives. Assimilation is now considered politically incorrect. I believe the reason the right doesnt defend itself is that those in position to do so are ignorant on what assimilation was intended to accomplish. Immigrants need not become Christians, members of the Rotary club or culturally identical to the masses. They must however integrate into the fabric of America. What this means is that they must integrate economically. They must divorce themselves from previous cultures of dependency and surrender to the state (a situation common to many immigrant in the past) and embrace the American identity of individualism and responsibility for self.
If we dont allow for this period of assimilation we are flooded with millions of people who never properly transition from their old habit of relying on government to fix all of their problems. This puts an unnecessary stress on the economy and those working and paying taxes to create the American dream for their children.

True. That's why the Ruling Class wants to bring in foreigners who support the fascist socialism they desire.
The problem with “immigrants” these days is that they think that America is so wealthy that you can have a BIG Socialist government with freebies and handouts for all and have capitalism and freedom at the same time. They aren’t very bright. It just doesn’t work that way.
And the ruling class is bankrolled by big biz, who have no desire to see their stinking low wage illegal golden goose killed off.
Bring back American jobs.
Hire more American workers.
Now.
Little Italy, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Olvera Street (Lost Angeles), San Antonio culture, Little Saigon, etc?
Run a full press court press to get the illegals to go conservative and watch ICE go into full deportation mode
1) Close the borders... North & South...
2) Eliminate LEGAL immigration until there is FULL employment.
3) Prosecute business (including shutting them down) if they hire invaders.. Yes INVADERS... There are NO illegal immigrants -or- undocumented workers... They are invaders!
4) Begin to DRAW down unemployment insurance and ANY other reason to pay people not to work...
Jobs won’t EVER be a problem...
No one is going to bring back any jobs for Americans, or hire any American workers as long as there are illegals in the parking lots of home improvement stores and tourist attractions in big cities who will work in construction and for service-oriented businesses for cash, off the books at a lower rate than a legal worker-and they don’t ask for overtime pay, either....
Until we hold our state officials’ feet to the fire to enforce immigration laws, bring-back-American-jobs, etc is wishful thinking...
Thus, like a self-fulfilling prophesy, the effect of amnesty &/or increased legal immigration, can only be in the direction of the dependency culture, that Clinton & Bush II, accepted, and which Obama has been accelerating.
There is also the compelling fact that we are already grossly over-crowded in major urban areas. Both the illegals & the new legal immigrants tend to congregate in urban areas--also a great departure from past patterns, where we attracted many who wanted their own land--and space to move around.

Locally it is panning out in many small communities. The larger urban areas are the problem.
I am not opposed to “legal” immigration, however, I am opposed to “illegal” immigration.
The first group are American loving producers; the other group are law breakers and leaches on society.
When the big businesses jumped on board we were in for a real fight. But I still think we can turn the tide on this.
Yep. That’s kind of the silver lining to legal immigration. High skilled workers will tend toward the conservative side once they become citizens and they have real wages. But you cannot do this when there are no jobs.
Don’t forget LIttle Havana in Miami. Its like a country unto itself.
Unfortunately most business interests are unable to focus on much beyond the next few quarters in their respective businesses--and what will affect the bottom line, therein. They are not a force for awareness of how society--aside from those immediate business considerations--actually functions. Thus they get played by the Left much as do less affluent groups, that everyone understands have been corrupted.
The basic formula for leading folk astray has not changed since Genesis. Here is a piece specifically directed towards the gaming of business interests by those who mean mischief for America: Another Variation On Demonic Theme.
The way to confront those business men, who are now trying to disparage dissent against the politically correct line in America, is politely, but absolutely "Head on!" Where our future is at stake, there is no room for avoiding any genuine issue, out of fear of being smeared--the Left's primary line of attack.

Great article. Don’t get discouraged. Right will prevail in the end.
There is nothing more important then ending the crimivasion from Mexico and reducing legal immigration to zero.
At least for 40 years.
The United States was not “in need” of immigrants. They came because the Kennedy’s and the Left opened the gates, and their co-conspirators rammed through Roe v. Wade in an almost successful plan to get the Americans to extinguish themselves. Perhaps you recall the Overpopulation hysteria of the early 1970s...part of the same initiative.
You are absolutely right that there should be no net immigration until the unemployment rate is below 3% or so. But remember that modern immigration is unparalleled: people with nothing in common with us coming in huge numbers, to a country long settled and previously homogeneous. For that reason alone it should be seen as a dangerous and radical ploy to undermine the nation.
Good luck against Boehner. Remember that he only represents himself and his clients on K street now, not the people of his district, or of the Reublican base in general. That’s the reason he needs to move on.
