Captain of the third -ranking commander of the Ukrainian trawler “Odessa” Yuri Fedash.
The officer said the high spirits of all trawler crew stand to last. The same high moral readiness crew large landing ship “Konstantin Olshansky “ under Captain 2 rank Dmitry Kovalenko. Crews operate fully interact with one another! “Odessa” and “ Olshansky “ - two high courage of an island under the Ukrainian flag in the occupied territories.
God keeps you protected! Glory to the Nation! And the enemy death.
Little help here? Anyone?
Sounds like they attempted to pass between the ships that Russia scuttled when they were hit on the side by either a Russian ship or one of the scuttled ships causing them to ground out.
Russia is really trying hard to get a Ukrainian ship to fire upon them so they can use it as a reason to attack Ukraine.
Custer almost won also.

In relations among nations, there really is no law, although one can be grateful for such conventions as the ban on poison gas and such.
A country that does not invest in self-defense really has no just cause to complain when it is overrun. A people who do not will the expense and responsibility of self-defense do not really will independence or liberty.
Poland in 1939, along with France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, etc., did not really will their independence and national identity. Neither did England. The same is true of Ukraine and many other countries today.
The Swiss don’t go whining to others about their independence and freedom. Neither should any other people. If they can’t be bothered to defend themselves, they invite enslavement, and should accept it with a quiet dignity.
Close but no zigar
It sounds like these brave Ukranians almost succeeded at escaping instead of surrendering. And they’re bragging about it.
