This is going be another joke like Obamacare. The ones that will feel the immediate effects are the government agencies. Increasing the minimum wage pay will require agencies to pay workers more which means, to keep within their budgets, they’ll have to hire less. Then the unions will start to demand an increase for all workers since the pay scales are set on a tier-base. Everything will bump upwards.
The net result will be government agencies hiring fewer workers and even possibly laying off some.
