I haven’t seen a cover up this obvious since Benghazi was declared a “Phony Scandal” the Malaysian Govt had this radar from INMARSAT since the beginning yet they kept searching the Indian Ocean, Malacca Strait, everywhere BUT the Indian Ocean where supposedly this radar shows the plane went..this smells SO bad of a cover up, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Malaysian Govt shot down the plane themselves..these families, my heart breaks for them..this is how your treated in a 3rd world country when something God forbid happens to your plane, like your nothing

McInerny has thousands of hours flight time, commanded fighter wings in the Philippines and elsewhere, and has a range of experience and contacts that is extensive, impressive, and involved.

I trust his word on what’s possible in that area and in the seat of an aircraft. He’s been there. He’s flown there.

Which scenario was more dangerous to the US: a plane wrecked in an ocean or a plane disappeared by hijackers?

Which scenario should, then, receive the most concern?

"...and that the calculations were based on an entirely new way of modelling the movement of aircraft."

Well, new to *them* maybe.

Terrorist terrorize. Why not go to 45,000 feet and slam into the ocean? Why not fly it into a building? Or be taken out by government planes? There a lot more ways to terrorize then fly til you run out of gas and maybe nobody picked up radar. All seems strange but hey the MSM has something to talk about til the end of the month instead of Obamacare numbers, Russia, Inflation, Gas/Food prices, Take over of the internet, Bengazi.....you name it.

‘The most likely outcome of an incident is not the wildest speculation that the imagination can produce. Yet, that’s what we’ve seen here and other places for the past two weeks. Totally unsupported, untenable stories made up from nothing were tossed around as if plausible when there was nothing to them. Anywhere. From any reliable source.’

Aha. You’ve been spending time reading about that subset of ‘birtherism’ known as the Worldwide Five-Plus-Decades-Old Mother-of-All-Conspiracies Mal-Val-Unified-Field-Theory haven’t you? I guarantee, the wildest MH370 theory can’t hold a distant candle to Mal-Valism. They’re not even in the same league.

1) Why don’t the planes making the rounds in the search lower baskets (or something like that) and retrieve the stuff that they’ve seen rather than wait for a ship to get to the area to find it?

2) Could these items have been planted by someone with sinister motives so that authorities don’t look elsewhere?

3) I saw last Friday night on Wolf Blitzer’s 6pm show a clock counting down the days until the black box’s ping stops pinging. I believe it said (On Fri. night) that there were 16 days left, plus hour, minutes & seconds. Hoping to catch a glimpse again when CNN puts it back on so that I can take a photo of it!!

That is all....

“Ships he said don’t carry round object because it would roll off the deck.”

‘Which could be why this round object ended up in the drink. Somewhere a deck hand is smacking himself in the forehead.’

Reminds me of the pearl of wisdom imparted by the ME in the Zimmerman trial:

‘Dead men cannot stand.’

Agree. They had the "talk" over the weekend and decided it's gone on too long and they need to end it. The sheep are getting restless and "conspirators" are getting suspicious and busting out plausible theories. So yeah, I had a feeling they would spot some debris.

What, “Using a type of analysis never before used in an investigation of this sort.”

Oh, I see, an air incident never before seen and an investigation using analysis never before used. That makes me feel safe. The best case scenario is that the Boeing 777 has a fatal flaw in its design and the F.A.A. already has posted a warning to all carriers on “rapid depressurization” as a result.

This is good news that, after three weeks, they got the narrative correct. Now I know what to think and believe. Whew!

(I thought our folks would never get the Newtown story down pat but they did, also eventually.)

Plus I sense that the families have been used when they should be left along to grieve in peace and privacy.

I personally wouldn’t deal with an airport or get on a commercial airliner today if it were free to fly.

I’m late to this thread but this one news conference didn’t say much.

They never do...

In fact in the U.S. they've become a back slap fest for government employees.

Staged closure. They’ve recovered nothing and they’re closing the book.

Yep, you said. As long as there is a “CTCAM”, that will live on there.

FOX showed the back end of the flight at SF after the tail broke off. It was round green and about the size mentioned. If made of honeycomb it would float
