The air in Midland is the same as it ever has been, which is clean, albeit dusty.

Our water is the same as it ever has been, which is clean, but darn hard on pipes.

I’m all for using fossil fuels, and conservation, as I am a conservative, and as such, use resources with a respect for our environment, and I do not treat it as a religion, but, what’s the word on fracking?

Is it so safe?

The reason NY hasn't taken it up is because they haven't figured out how many thousands of people they should hire to oversee this very old technology.

And of course, there's the taxes and the fines and how to get Fed funding.

I Love NY.....NOT!!

Solar is obviously underfunded and if you don’t agree you must be racist, er, hate the earth or something.

That's kind of moot if you're flat broke, living under a bridge in a refrigerator box, and starving to death. :-)

Fracking works, is safe, and is an economic powerhouse. Solar is flashy but an economic non starter till more advances occur in solar technology even then there is the problem of surface area requirements for solar and wind that will not be easily solved.

1 billion dollars to {create} 10 jobs. That’s only 100 million dollars a job. At that rate it will only take all the money in the world to create enough Green Jobs to end unemployment.

Hey you stupid liberals out there... read this one!!! Eff you Al Gore...

Solar has a long, long way to go before it's viable. More breakthroughs are needed on it. A lot of 'em. Fracking is the way to go right now.

So far as we know. There are still some questions on it lately, in relation to contamination of groundwater through use of new methods, but it's nothing serious. We've been fracking since the 1940s with no problem.
