And why not? (I can't ever find this info) Im betting its a tax-exempt.
Twitter and Facebook are not government property. He can say what he wants. These days I’m more concerned about the separation of government and science, than government and religion.
The atheist outrage over the governors beliefs seems almost unbelievable.
The best approach to those who become so unglued is to send them a list of organizations accustomed to dealing with anger management and other mental issues.
These must be the same people who cry, scream, litter, tag and destroy everything they can any time something happens that they can’t defeat or control. Teachers unions come to mind.
Scott Walker IS a LEADER!!! I truly admire his courage, this man has endured what NONE OF US believed possible!!! He WON’T back down
he WILL stand his ground and he WILL always WIN, as we ALL know
WILL happen if legislators had the cajones to do so!!! They are ALL such
gutless wonders!!! GOD BLESS YOU SCOTT WALKER!!!
This is called taking a stand, and people like Walker have to do it,in the public eye, for all to see, and never backing down. Never.
I’ll bet you 95% of atheists don’t agree with these slugs who claim to represent them. And some Christians hate atheists.
Those atheists can just go to hell..
Oh wait.. that’s fairly obvious...
See here's the problem. They aggresively attack any form of religious sentiment which benefits from public funding no matter how obliquely. In this case he used his "official" twitter account, but Twitter is a non-government commercial service and accounts are free. So the fact that it was set up as "official" doesn't make it publicly funded in any way, shape or form. So instead they are forced to go after him personally. His speech, they reason, since he is governor, is somehow subject to the sanctions against religion. It "troubles" them. Well, fortunately that other part of the first amendment protects his right to say whatever he wants.
the ffr folks apparently have never read anything from the country’s founders on the subject. bet they’d be surprised at what jefferson did as a governor.
they are hq’d in madistan, where the hardcore commies call home.
Braggadocio is a noun. She should have used the adjective “braggadocious”.
I’m going to write her and tell her I’m from the Freedom from Bad Grammar Foundation and that her use of a noun in place of an adjective greatly offends me, and then demand that she remove it immediately.
Or not.
Something very humble is interpreted by the arrogant media and Left as the opposite...how telling.
Good its time to push back agains’t these people. They are the vast minority which should mean they don’t get to dictate. Its supposed to be a free country for everyone not just the atheists.
Hold fast, Scott Walker!
Excellent comment!
An effort to institute control by the most easily offended. My personal viewpoint is to delete any and all references to “The Freedom From Religion Foundation” from any and all news streams based upon their obvious religious fundamentalism.
Scott Walker stands against atheists by the Bible reference that he “tweeted”. Yay, Scott!
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Praying for Annie and Dan - hope they wake up and smell the brimstone.
Wonder if their heads would explode if Gov. Walker offered publicly to pray for them?
Walker is my first choice for President in 2016. It is so refreshing to see a Republican who actually exhibits courage and fortitude.
