Street protests by average citizens ARE necessary,
ARE effective, not only in ginning up new supporters
and keeping the grass roots fired up
but by their effect on the media. The press won’t
turn until the tide is strong enough.
If you're going to wait for the press to turn, you have a long, long, long wait ahead, and more than likely it never will.
You Post #6 is right on. If someone with the wherewithal organized a March on Washington that would “storm” the Capitol Building, instead of standing in the sun all day listening to Glen Beck and Sean Hannity make speeches, I am there!
