A Massachusetts judge ruled Tuesday that the Connecticut teen in the middle of a contentious custody battle between her parents and the state will remain in the custody of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families.
The Boston Globe reported that Suffolk County juvenile court Judge Joseph Johnson granted permanent custody to the state DCF, leaving it up to the agency to decide if and when 15-year-old Justina Pelletier is returned to her parents custody. This decision was in response to a motion filed by Linda and Lou Pelletier, Justinas parents, and her court-lawyer attorney for a conditional custody plan.
Mat Staver, attorney and founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, told TheBlaze as he understands the order that was filed with the clerk Tuesday afternoon, the DCF will retain custody of Justina until May 25 at which point another hearing will be held.

There’s something wrong with this story. Somebody is hiding something and I’m betting it’s DCF. I’m going to do some research and see what information I can dig up. Let me lay out the facts as we know them.
The Pelletier family says that Justina and her older sister have mitochondrial disease. They were being treated at Tufts Medical Center in Boston by Dr. Mark Korson for the disease. Now Boston Children’s Hospital is saying it’s somatoform pain disorder, which is a psychiatric problem, and that the parents refuse to acknowledge it. OK. Those are the facts.
Tufts Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital are both part of the same health system. Neither are quack facilities, so we know that it wasn’t some woo-meister trying to treat the mitochondrial disease with magnets or some such.
Since Korson is supporting the Pelletiers and other rare disease people are striking up for the girl, I think DCF is full of it. Somebody has got to get the medical evidence to judge, along with experts to give testimony on the matter.
The psycholist put this kid in a standing rig to force her to walk, probably telling her she’s a faker in the process. If the psychologist is wrong we can well assume her ego and personal ambitious were contributing factors. If the psychologist is wrong and now seeking to mitigate the liability for the sake of her ego than is malpractice approaching Joseph Mengele territory. The liability is unlimited.
Note that judge here was theoretically the custodian for the child during the process these last 13-14 months. He just gave retroactive custody to DCFS in his judgment Yesterday. He knows they are all going to burn if this girl should live long enough to sware out an affidavit or worse testifies against them in open court.
This is what death panels will look like, if they make a mistake they may well actively seek to kill you to protect careers and avoid liability.
right now, the judge clown is just playing along in the CYA mode for the state.......
let the govt into your life and this is what happens...
Well, only a precious few protested while the state of Florida and a judge in Florida was complicit in murdering Terry Schiavo, so there’s already precedent. Do our public “servants” actually care what we say or think? OK, maybe a few, like Governor Rick Perry, who changed course on immunizations and listened to his state residents.
But otherwise, what can we do about it if they don’t? How many *actually* pay a price at the ballot box, if at all?
As I said on another thread on another subject...
Progressives need some first hand exposure to hemp. Rope.
What Mass. is doing to this family is CRIMINAL! Watch the Dr. Phil episode where all the facts are laid out. Its stunning that the state would not let her go home after this information was presented on Dr. Phil.
