Given that you don’t have to be Alaskan to vote on this poll, I suspect that PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome) is active here.

Yes, it is PDS. There must be a lot of pent up frustration among the leftists out there because Palin has been and continues to be, correct on many issues for many years. The leftists are realizing what dregs they have been and continue to be, but are incapable of repenting and reforming.

An independent Alaska could probably get a defense guarantee from Russia. If Alaska seceded, it could spur a wave of secessions in the lower 48. A rebellious Alaska would suck up a disproportionate amount of the US military’s resources because it would be relatively difficult to supply troops, hold territory, and eradicate guerrillas.
Although I do not think that the time is ripe for this type of action, future events might make such a scenario necessary. An economic collapse and/or global war would lead to martial law and unprecedented tyranny. In that case, there would be no choice but to oppose the elites and Feds.

Old empty panty choom gangsta’s silly White House Petitions are as vacant as his soul.

Is there a record of any of these petitions being acted on? Does he do it with Executive fiat/Orders? Does he turn around and do the right thing by asking or Petitioning Congress to follow up on these petitions?

I will be so happy when the empty chair is filled with a real President.

This may be our chance to rid the leftist states of Washington, Oregon, and California.

For the upteenth time, some parts of California are conservative. The coastal regions are suspect as leftist enclaves. Northern and inland California are conservative. For a long time, Northern California has wanted to secede from California along with parts of Oregon to create the state of Jefferson. Regarding Hawaii, China will probably claim dibs on that (unless the Japanese are successful at holding China from going east).

Or could it be Russians that voted in the poll? Putin himself may have voted in this poll.

Whoops, it’s not a poll, it’s a petition. My bad, but same idea.

Secede and become an independent nation maybe, but join Russia?
That does not seem like much of an improvement.

If this happened, Tina Fey would really be able to see Russia from her house and she’d have to get a new joke.

Obama would let Russia do it just to get rid of Sarah Palin.

Could it be that some prefer a nation with balls?
