No, I have not communicated with his office, but since you have, why don't you flesh out his position on immigration for all on this thread if it is different from what is being reported.

I am reporting what has been reported about Gowdy and his position which, by the way, is festooned with quotes from Gowdy. If I am slandering him than so too are all the media outlets that have reported about his position. Why doesn't he sue them? If it is slander than he will have quite a payday.
And now, back to the topic of this thread...

I will await your fleshed out report of his position since you have avoided this request three times.

I am not bullying anyone. You are the one who suggested that what is being reported about Gowdy's position as to being in favor of back door amnesty and its resultant chain immigration is incorrect.
I am simply asking you to explain his position if what is being reported is wrong. You have failed to do so.
It is my impression that you are incapable of explaining his position because what is (was) reported is accurate.
You come on this thread accusing people of slander and it turns out it is YOU who cannot defend your position with respect to Gowdy’s position.

It’s not that easy ... there are copies on both ends, and possibly on personal devices ,, on the servers ,, on the backup tapes , both incremental and full volume backups ... someone might have a paper copy ... there will be numbering gaps if a single file is deleted... it’s quite hard to do a completely thorough job of it ... and with what is already known it would be a foolhardy task .. my guess is that they continue to stonewall... and if it goes to far they delay as much as possible.

I’m going to guess the amount of due diligence won’t be near as thorough on an internal gvwrnment investigation as it will be on a Christian conservative Tea Party member during an IRS tax audit....: )
Comic relief ... has anyone else noticed that Trey Gowdy looks like Harland William’s twin (the hitchhiking serial killer in “There’s Something About Mary”)... the pubs need to crush these criminals ... people need to be frog marched in chains ... ooh-rah!!!

Right you are ... they won’t look at a thing and will issue a report stating that they did or they will destroy actual evidence while “searching” the devices where the evidence may exist... probably a bit of both.
There may be a lot of GOP amnesty supporters but Gowdy seems more eager than others to pass anything. You also have his partner in crime Mulvaney holding a town hall in Spanish. It is a good thing Tim Scott was promoted to Senate and not Gowdy.
The people who talk about the children being brought in, are usually the worst like Chris Cannon, Dick Lugar and Orrin Hatch.
Gowdy is also a wimp when he gets shown up and complains to the media.
