To: Veto!
I did a little experimenting this winter. I bought a bag of lemons cheap, cut them in quarters and froze them. Now I always have lemons on hand. I just throw a couple sections into my scampi (or whatever) and squeeze them against the pan when they defrost.

Next time, I'm going to freeze slices and wedges. I'm sure you can do the same with limes unless your use is strictly for booze.

Actually, yes you can cut up limes and freeze them for later use in a gin & tonic. I do.

What a great idea about freezing citrus. I squeeze limes or lemons on all kinds of fish and veggie dishes, brightens up the flavor. Use as salad dressing too, with a minuscule amount of oil.
