Dr. Max Wiznitzer, a child neurologist at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, who was not involved in the study, said he believed the numbers, but thought they reflected a rise in diagnosis, not "the true prevalence of autism."

“I'm not convinced that the true numbers of autism are rising, rising, rising every time we survey them,” Wiznitzer told NBC News in an interview.

Did you even read the article? It appears Dr. Max Wiznitzer agrees with me... That said, people who really are dealing with an autistic child are in my prayers... and I wish there was a way to assist these people - or better to find a cure... But our heart felt concerns are only fodder for democrats to reward their voters... and you must know that...

Yes, I have been reading the articles since this morning. It’s horrible when freepers think that parents are just in it for the money.

I never said I completely agree that the numbers are rising as fast as some people say. I just remember all the comments in the past where freepers claim parents tell their children to act “crazy”, so they can get a government check. Well they is no check just incredible expenses. and worry about what will happen when we are all dead. Will Orion be loved and treated well or will he be shoved in some group home and abused?
