I agree, and I want to hear what the FBI finds in their analysis of the simulator hard drives. If they *can’t* figure out the deleted files, that tells us a lot, i.e. that the guy had to use some very sophisticated “wiping” software and must have had something to hide. I hope the FBI doesn’t wait for permission from the Malaysian clowns before releasing what thye find.
If the Feds find out anything negative involving muzzies, like Ft Hood and Fast and Furious, Holder will cover up, obfuscate, lie and be non responsive.
Files can be easly overwritten with some simple, open source, software. Linux has the “shred” command; I have no idea what the Windows equivalent would be- but if the files were indeed overwritten then that would certainly point to ill intent on the part of the pilot.
