SCF endorses T.W. Shannon for U.S. Senate in Oklahoma.

We are very proud to announce our support today for T.W. Shannon (R-OK) who is running for the U.S. Senate in Oklahoma.
T.W. Shannon (R-OK)As many of you know, U.S. Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) is retiring at the end of the year. Congressman Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) decided not to run for the seat, but T.W. Shannon has stepped forward for conservatives.
T.W. Shannon is the former Speaker of the House in the Oklahoma legislature. He was elected by his Republican colleagues as the youngest and first African American House Speaker. He's also been called "the most conservative Speaker in State History."
We're very excited to support T.W. Shannon in this important race and hope you will join us by making a contribution to his campaign.
T.W. Shannon has fought to shrink the size of government and reduce the state's debt. He has worked to lower state income tax rates and authored legislation to add work requirements for food stamp recipients.

T.W. Shannon's top Republican challenger is U.S. Rep. James Lankford (R-OK). Congressman Lankford is a good person, but his voting record in Washington is disappointing. He has cast liberal votes to increase the debt limit, raise taxes, and fund Obamacare, just to name a few.
T.W. Shannon is the conservative choice in this race. In fact, he has already been endorsed by leading conservatives such as former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, radio talk show host Mark Levin, and RedState editor Erick Erickson.

I know, great choice. But the guys on the morning talk show in Tulsa have endorsed Bragdon. They call TW a RINO. I may have to turn off the Pat Campbell show.
Is that because he wouldn’t vote against Mitch for leader?
If Lankford survives, then 2 term congressman Bridenstine should go for the rematch in 2016 while Lankford has to vote like Inhofe to survive.

Turned it off years ago. Still don’t know why he was hired. Except that the station managers don’t really seem to know what they are trying to do... Was a listener for years, until the whole DelGiorno/Medlock debacle. Tried to listen to Pat, but just couldn’t.
The station had a chance to change the face of Tulsa talk radio, and they folded like a cheap suit.
