"It was called Recipe Not To Become Pregnant and called for crocodile feces, mixed with fermented dough, and placed in the vagina."

It's doubtful that any man would even ATTEMPT to impregnate a woman who had all that crap stuffed up her ya-ya. So right, no boom-boom, no wah-wah.

“Soranus, an ancient Greek physician and medical writer,"

Sor-anus? Is that another form of ancient contraception?

Abortion, the Life Sustaining Act????!!!

With that kind of logic, and if life sustaining acts are what we are about, then here is a “modest proposal”:

50 million babies’ lives will be sustained in very short order if all those in favor of abortion are themselves removed from this life, executed (aborted) while at the same time all future in-eutero lives are protected from abortion.

Whadyathinc?

Wait. Hasn't somebody else already noted these things?...

Yes, and his writings have been adopted by the radicals as a "how-to" text, not as a cautionary tale.

More accurately, a lifestyle-sustaining act.

I’m sure it worked, if only that the smell kept the men away. Cuddling a skunk would have gotten the same results, without fear of infection.

Communist madness and genocide on the march, seeking no opposition to their smuggling language and twisted “natural” minds. Reminds me of the stubborn retarded people hung on Opium in China.
