SEN. CRUZ AND REP. BRIDENSTINE FILE ‘AMERICAN ENERGY RENAISSANCE’ BILLS

Nearly one month after Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke before a group of oilfield executives and employees to announce his idea of an American Energy Renaissance Act to increase jobs and energy independence—his office recently announced the filing of similarly-named legislation. During his speech reported on by Breitbart Texas in February, Cruz said, “The American energy renaissance that is beginning before our eyes can help save us from the Obama economy.”

Sen. Cruz announced--in conjunction with Congressman Jim Bridenstine (R-OK)--the filing of legislation that could bring the goal of new, high-paying jobs for Americans to reality. Together, the Republicans announced Senate Bill S. 2170 and House Bill H.R. 4286, which could empower the private sector to create jobs and opportunities domestically, according to statements submitted to Breitbart Texas.

“We are on the cusp of a Great American Energy Renaissance that will create both a stronger economy and a stronger America,” said Sen. Cruz. “The energy revolution that is already underway can produce the jobs and opportunities that our country needs to grow. A booming new energy economy can also provide critical resources to our allies so they are no longer energy dependent on petro-tyrants, such as Russia’s Vladimir Putin. This is a win-win. The only thing the federal government needs to do is get out of the way and let Americans do what they do best: dream, innovate, and prosper.”

Both of the bills are designed to block an overreaching federal government from creating new regulatory constraints on hydraulic fracturing and will facilitate the expansion of domestic refining capacity. Further the bill will “improve processes to develop energy infrastructure, stop EPA overreach and its war on coal, force Congress and the President to approve any new EPA regulations that kill jobs, broaden energy ”

Ted Cruz - knows that oil energy will reduce our foreign dependency and increase jobs and grow the economy.

verses

B. Hussein - who has wasted billions on green energy boondoggles that failed to create anything but golden parachutes for his cronies while energy costs AND unemployment increase.

We should start filing lawsuits against environmental groups. Do to them what the rats did to Palin. Get a friendly judge.

Make them spend money. Eventually their benefactors say no more. That’s the only way to beat communists.
