Legislature of Idaho, an open and concealed carry state, recently authorized possession of personal firearms by students and faculty on the Univ. of Idaho campus. Moscow libs are fearful, but not making a great fuss. Administrators now conferring on how to manage this new scenario. Law greatly restricts places on campus that students may carry or keep a gun; not in any dorm or residence hall room, for example.
Malloy has been using violent provoking language for YEARS against the right. Why is he so untouchable? I get that Bill Maher is on cable, and there are enough like minded left wing haters to pay for that program. Is that also the case with this Malloy character? I’m not in the geographic area that gets his show, thank goodness. If I were in his area, I would apply pressure to his advertisers to stop supporting his program. Then again, maybe his audience is so very tiny, that this rabid little Chihuahua can yip and yap his little head off and nobody would take notice.

The Founders were concerned that the people retain the power to prevent or correct any tyranny from developing. But self- defense was always understood as both a right and a duty. I went to school in Moscow at the U of I back in the early 80’s. Living in a dorm. This fellow resident brought his rifle back from home visit to do some local deer hunting the following weekend. On a particularly nice fall day there were a couple of girls “playing” tennis on the court across the street. Scantily clad, they were making sure they had our attention. Anyways this guy gets out his rifle to get a better look with the scope and one of these girls spots him. SNIPER!!! she screams and all heck breaks loose.
The cops never found the gun, or the sniper, and we never saw those girls again. Dagnubbit.
In part liberals want real Americans disarmed so the government will have absolute power and absolute control over our lives. In part, liberals want decent people disarmed because liberals are not decent - they are inherently violent and lack self-control, so they assume conservatives have the same weakness. Personally, I think our weakness is too much self-control (combined with always trying to apply a charitable though less plausible explanation short of pure evil to liberal policies).

It’s right wing types paying for cable that keeps liberalism alive. Simple numbers. Take right wing cash away and cable collapses. It cannot survive in present form with half its subscriber income. No one seems able to dispute it so no legit excuse exists.

No. Under this regime, "terrorists" are prior military, Christians, conservatives, and other bitter people who cling to God and to guns instead of putting their trust in the democrats and in communism. Agreed 100%. Every purchase I make is political - from the GM car I will never again buy because of their corrupt bankruptcy, to the cable I don't pay for, to the liberal movies I don't see in the theater, and the firearms and ammo I buy that are manufactured outside the liberal states.

No one ever died for lack of TV. And TV is the main threat to America as the mouthpiece of liberalism. Now of course, there are things we have no choice in. But TV/Cable is very much a choice.
