RNC’s Priebus sees EBONY’s gaffe as teachable moment
The Daily Caller ^ | 28 Mar 2014

Moral of the story? If you’re going to go all racial, never call someone a “white dude” unless you’re absolutely sure he is one.

This memorandum was released by the Republican National Committee just after 4 p.m. today in response to Jamilah Lemieux, the EBONY Magazine senior editor who went a little haywire on Twitter Thursday, saying she had no desire to listen to a white conservative dude like Raffi Williams, deputy flack at the RNC. Indeed, she told him to “shut up!” (See the whole brutal but kinda hilarious conversation here.)

Except, of course, he’s black and the son of FNC’s liberal commentator Juan Williams.

MEMORANDUM

FROM: Orlando Watson, Communications Director for Black Media

TO: Interested Parties

RE: EBONY’s Apology for Senior Editor’s Biased Attacks

Yesterday, a senior editor for EBONY, Jamilah Lemieux, was attacking black conservatives on Twitter. One of our RNC staffers, Deputy Press Secretary Raffi Williams, tried to challenge her assumptions and called her out for her bias.

She responded by dismissing him as “a white dude.” (He’s black.) She then went on to refer to her detractors as “a house of roaches.” She said she had “no interest in this conversation.” “I wish I knew less” about black Republicans, she said. (You can read more in National Review and watch Raffi’s appearance on Fox and Friends.)

On Friday morning, Chairman Reince Priebus sent a letter to EBONY asking for an apology for dismissing black Republicans and the validity of their opinions in public discourse.

This afternoon, EBONY responded with an apology posted on their website. The RNC appreciates and accepts their response, and Raffi has accepted their apology. Despite the actions of one editor, we’re glad to see EBONY embracing a higher standard of journalistic integrity.

Let's pretend that we are dealing with reasonable people who may possibly see the error of their ways and adjust their behavior in the future ...

Or we could acknowledge that we face an implacable foe who would gladly kill our families to rid the earth of scum like us.

If people want to see BLACK people, as in AFRICAN, they should go to Africa.

We went to Kenya one year. THEN I understood why they called them BLACK people. Their skin was BLACK as in the color of my computer.

Moment of truth: an "African-American" couple joined the group and were in SHOCK. The couple looked WHITE compared to the Kenyans.
I hadn't realized myself how LIGHT this "African-American" couple was until I saw them right next to the Kenyans.

There are MANY different tribes in Kenya and the one thing they have in common is their BLACK skin color.
African-Americans are cafe au LAIT color, accent HEAVILY on the LAIT.

I wonder why that is...? Certainly there was interbreeding of slaves brought from Africa, but enough to lighten the average so much in just a few generations? Don’t know. Or perhaps there was just a difference between the west Africans that were mainly the slave populations, and the eastern Africans like Kenya.

Note that the serial Gigalo JF’nK’s current rich wife is also an African-American, by definition.

That's what I've heard. Sometimes kids rebel against their parents.

Only Republicans use insults thrown at them as opportunities to 'teach' the other side (an effort that never works because the other side ain't interested in learning). Liberals use them as blunt objects with which to bludgeon the other side until it begs for mercy on the bloodied floor of the public square.

Taking the high road has not served Republicans well, but they don't seem to learn that lesson. Make hay while the sun shines, and all that.

Priebus spoke at the Hispanic Chamber of Open Borders while they are promoting the Wise Latina for Texas LT Governor.

https://twitter.com/USHCC

Priebus himself promotes weak presidential candidates like Governor Martinez because of their race or gender.

http://stevedeace.com/news/national-politics/presidential-candidate-survivor-2016/

- Sen. Kelly Ayotte, of New Hampshire

Hahahahahaha

- Haley Barbour, former Mississippi governor

Only if a cholera outbreak dismantles all other potentials.

– John Kasich, Ohio governor

Has betrayed conservatives far too often.

- Rep. Peter King, of New York

Has a better chance at a Viking funeral than the GOP nomination.

- Susana Martinez, New Mexico governor

If her name were Bob Smith this wouldn’t even be a consideration.

“So is Juan Williams’ son conservative?”

And his other son, Antonio, was a Senate page and intern for . . . drum roll . . . . wait for it . . .
I said wait for it . . . . Strom Thurmond ! LOL.

Juan is Panamanian born and missed the whole Black struggle thing. Hard to get mad at a guy who just isn’t very smart. He and Hannity should share IQ’s one day - see if they break a 100 - combined.

Ok, that wasn’t nice, but the one social injustice that frosts me is stupid rich people.

Raffi Williams (Juan’s son) was on FNC yesterday. Very nice looking and well-spoken young man IMHO. I had heard he was conservative but don’t recall hearing that he works for the RNC until now.
