I think the entire global economy is a sham. Ridiculous levels of debt, vast amounts of counterfeit money, and "legitimate" government printing presses running day and night shoveling worthless currency out the door.
It's a complete farce.
A few years ago there was that bust of fake securities totalling many billions seized across the italian/swiss border or therabouts by nefarious characters. Then the story just faded away.
