From the source:

“The school is not recognized by the country’s Ministry of Education. There are no laws in Chile that restrict the spread of Nazi ideology.”

A few points about this story.
The school has no official sanction and the founder, one Godofredo Rodriguez Pacheco, is something of a crank who was recently arrested for theft and who appears to be somewhat ignorant of the General Pinochet whom he professes to admire so much.
The Pinochet government in fact had a good relationship with Israel and with most of the local Jewish community, something for which Israel was routinely denounced by the usual suspects in academia, the media, and the communist parties, as well as by really dangerous and serious admirers of Hitler in the Muslim world.
The demand for new laws prohibiting Nazi propaganda seem excessive and counter-productive. Chilean leftists, who often exhibit their own virulent Chavez-inspired antisemitism, could easily turn these laws against any and all opponents, including the Jewish community itself.
Ironically, Pacheco and his gang would be entirely free to set up such a school in the US. European style anti-Nazi laws are neither possible nor necessary here. I am disappointed to see influential members of the Chilean Jewish community shortsightedly demanding that Chile emulate distant Europe in this respect rather than its fellow American republic here in the US.
