The press has yet to follow up on the HInckley/Bush connection. John Chancellor remarked on the "bizarre coincidence" of Neil Bush and Scott Hinckley having dinner plans. At the time of the shooting Hinckley, Sr. a big oil contributor to the Bush primary campaign, was under investigation for overcharges to the Energy Department under Reagan.

That IS very odd. Consider that Reagan was a Republican Establishment outsider, and that G.H.W.Bush was pushed on him by the Establishment. Reagan was the original Tea Party politician, and curiously, he was shot within months of getting into office. Isn't that peculiar? Isn't it odd that the former head of the CIA was next in line for the Presidency, and that it was a Bush? You know, the CIA often sends 'handlers' into foreign governments to moderate or control heads of state. Wouldn't it be interesting if this happened here?

Don’t fall in to crazy conspiracy madness.

I don’t remember hearing about the attempted assassination.

I do remember graffiti saying things like “Reagan, will die, Bush will take over and the CIA will rule”.

I remember that distinctly. I think iI may have seen it even before Hinckley shot him, but I’m not sure.

This was the view being pushed forth by the New Left and other drugged out lefty and occultist propagandists at the time.

It is psy-ops propaganda from the dark side, both political and spiritual.

30 years later I’d Hate to see conservatives fooled by such deceit.
