Who didn’t see the Russian ammo embargo coming?

I have to agree that it's a plain Jane for a 50th anniversary model.

When we think of those things that are quintessential American, certainly apple pie comes to mind. Not far behind that delicious vision is a different image – one of long summer afternoons spent plinking with a beloved .22 rifle. And the rifle that embodies that image is the Ruger 10/22, a gun that has earned the name America’s Rifle.

I do but there is no contract.
It’s just a lead.

Try www.ammoseek.com or www.gunbot.net/ammo when looking for ammo. These are two websites that automatically update ammo prices and availability.

But you have to be fast as prices and availability change. For the really good deals, it is not unusual for the opportunity to disappear in minutes. So if you see a deal, jump on it. Do not go to the bathroom and log in five minutes later.

I have certain price points for certain calibers and ammo types, so when I see a price hit a price point, I immediately log in and order. Shipping can change the price significantly (ammo is heavy and there are hazmat fees), so plan on ordering about a minimum of 250 rounds. For instance, Sportsman Lodge wanted $12 to ship 100 rounds of 40S&W, but only wanted $18 for 300 rounds.

Lastly, watch Cabelas, about 5-6 times a year they drop shipping cost to $5 for orders exceeding $99, so an OK deal now becomes a very good deal.

They’re going after us now either thru firearms (microstamping) or thru ammo (shortages); either way driving-up the costs, driving down the availabilities, and criminalizing as many Vets, Patriots and others as possible. The Marxist/commie/eco-wackos/leftists/socialists/UN’ war is unrelenting and very well-funded. Schools, gov’t, surgeon general, AARP etc etc etc are all in on it, now.

That’s some list!

I had a number of them bookmarked, but certainly not all. Never bought any ammo online before.

I’ve kept Tatiyana fed by spam cans I found at gun shows etc.
