Finding lost Malaysia plane may be impossible: US official
New York Post | March 31, 2014 | Bruce Golding

A US Navy official warned Sunday that finding the missing Malaysian jet may be impossible, as efforts to locate the plane intensified ahead of the expected failure of its black-box homing beacons.

“It all depends on how effective we are at reducing that search area,” Capt. Mark Matthews told reporters at Australia’s Stirling Naval Base near Perth.

“Right now, the search area is basically the size of the Indian Ocean, which would take an untenable amount of time to search.”

It wasn’t at all unusual in prior centuries for some 25 percent or so of ships to disappear without a trace. I wonder how many airliners have just disappeared without a trace?

Finding lost Malaysia plane may be impossible

Until it crosses the Israeli border at 550 MPH and the Iranian nuke detonates 10,000 feet above Tel Aviv, that is...

with all of the gadgetry on that plane - and they still haven't a clue. Unbelievable.

That's the real story even if they do find the plane at this point. They can lose a huge plane on a scheduled flight with hundreds of people on it, but are capable of reading every post you make, every phone call you take...they'll be watching you.

Such lying crap.

The U.S. Navy could have dropped sonobuoys from P-8's or the Australians from P-3's a week ago over the target areas for thousands of miles and picked up signals from those Dukane ULB's (pingers), or a single SURTASS ship could have patrolled the area and easily have picked up the signals from the CVR or DFDR.

I knew they would give it a few weeks and than state they will never find FLT370 publicly, because secretly they know exactly where that 777 is.
