Congress should just say, there will be no more funding for Obamacare since it has been reported by the MSM that the program is working. And since the words they write come directly from the oval office, it must be true.

From the article: As the law’s initial enrollment period closes, at least 9.5 million previously uninsured people have gained coverage. Some have done so through marketplaces created by the law, some through other private insurance and others through Medicaid, which has expanded under the law in about half the states.”

And what percentage is Medicaid? Is that really how Obamcare was billed, to increase the Welfare rolls? Was it billed as, you will get Medicaid? NO, it was billed as everyone will get affordable healthcare coverage. Of course, their premiums are going up, their level of coverage is down, etc., etc.

The ministry of propaganda has simply thrown in the towel in waiting for Obamacare to come through. Now, they will just report it as being a success and create their own reality.

Actually, if you read the law (I read a lot of it, I’ not going to claim I read all of it but probably more than Pelosi read) it was a stated goal that at least HALF of what they called “newly insured” would come from the expansion of Medicaid.

Obamacare MANDATED that States had to expand Medicaid to include many more people than the previous very narrow eligibility limits. And they eliminated asset tests for eligibility.

That goal got a monkey wrench thrown at it when the Supreme Court ruled that States did not have to comply with the Medicaid expansion mandate .... they essentially un-mandated the mandate. This came as a big shock to Obamacare crafters and boosters in Congress. The media downplayed it so much that most people still do not know about the Supreme Court decision.

Still, they are claiming 4.5 new Medicaid enrollees with only half the States voluntarily agreeing to the expansion. That seems very unlikely to me, but then, so do all the other numbers.

"JUST the place for a Snark!" the Bellman cried,
    As he landed his crew with care;
Supporting each man on the top of the tide
By a finger entwined in his hair.

"Just the place for a Snark! I have said it twice:
That alone should encourage the crew.
Just the place for a Snark! I have said it thrice:
What I tell you three times is true."

Fox reported that almost 4,000 uninsured Texans had signed up for democrat care since the web site opened for “business”. If that holds true for most states, that number is total male bovine excrement.

4 thousand previously uninsured in Texas have ‘enrolled’?
That’s so small it’s insignificant.
They claim 6 million people are uninsured in Texas

Everyone here already knows Obama and his minions have to lie their asses off about enrollment and the law in general.

So what’s to discuss?

I believe that may be correct, if you take all the recent college grads. They are not signing up for democrat care. Plus all the illegals...
