True that. My daughter has always had difficulty digesting cow’s milk. She has consumed goat’s milk, soy milk, and almond milk since she was no longer breast fed.
oh my never saw those before will have to field test them!
Have you tried whipping cream? Fabulous on raisin bran crunch, or straight from the carton!
Thanks.
Voice of reason posts are appreciated.
Your comments were right on the mark.
Yep, but the poster I responded to assumed NONE of them were.
“Isnt Mother Jones a far left wing publication?”
Yes. All the way around. From politics to this goofy food stuff.
Common denominator is whatever normal average Americans do or like is wrong and not just wrong, harmful.
U. R. Evil!(tm)
Now I’m hungry.
Yes, I have but prefer the taste of H&H. I make ice cream and use a mixture of H&H and whipping cream. The recipe calls for milk too but I don’t use it. Anyone who has ever tried my ice cream, loves it. It costs more to make but is well worth the price.
I tried 2% one time too, don’t know why anyone would drink that white colored water.
I like butter milk too but all I’ve been able to find around here is “low fat”. My g/son, then age 8, saw me pouring myself a glass and he wanted some too, I warned him that it didn’t taste like regular milk, he says, “I like butter and I like milk so let me taste it”. I poured him a mouth full in a cup. I should have had my camera ready, the look on his face when he tasted it was priceless.
I am not lactose intolerant but DH is.
When we were dating, before we got married, I made a lovely pasta alfredo with ice cream for desert.
He became incredibly sick, with intestinal cramps, diarrhea, etc.
I didn’t know anything at the time about “lactose intolerant” — I do now.
Fortunately, he decided to marry me anyway, LOL.
Doubtless it was all up hill from there...
This is for real folks, trust me. BTW all goats milk is A2 which is one reason why people do not have problems with it. It is also higher in potassium and a smaller fat molecule. I have been studying this as a hobby for years, and many American dairys are working to transition their herds.
There’s something to be said for just continuing what you’re doing, whatever it is. Docs told my father the same thing. The body doesn’t really like gastric surprises.
According to that chart I’ve already exceeded my life expectancy by 15 years.
Wow-—and I’m a milk drinker-—whole milk of course.
.
Yes, Vitamin D Whole milk. Great Value milk at Wal-Mart.
DDDDDDDDDDDelicious. I drink lots of it too!
Lactaid milk works fine for me! It is also ultrapasteurized, so it lasts forever.
Ah yes, the milk Cordove (dont know if my spelling is right but that was a good movie)
I’m immune! Now, bring on the A1 Steak Sauce...
Ah ... I miss Sonoma County ... not for the milk ... for the wine!
