Chris Christie: Republicans don't get anywhere complaining about the mainstream media (RINO Suckup)
Washington Examiner ^ | 3/31/2014 | CHARLIE SPIERING

Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., turned down the opportunity to bash the mainstream media on Friday, when interviewed by Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

Kelly pointed out, during a part of the interview aired on Friday, that there was an unprecedented volume of negative media coverage surrounding the bridge controversy in New Jersey.

"Has this changed your view of the mainstream media?" she asked.

"No, I've always had the same view," Christie said, pointing out that anyone can be the "flavor of the month" in the media.

"But I've always said to my folks in the party, we don't get anywhere complaining about it either," Christie said. "We need to just do our jobs."

Christie admitted that the media's constant attention to the story was probably because he was a potential 2016 presidential candidate.

"Listen, I think Jon Stewart said one night, 'I didn't realize that he was president of the United States of New Jersey,'" Christie said. "I think that kind of encapsulates my thought."

Christie added that his innocence in the case would eventually filter through the media speculation.

"There's no baggage here, because I didn't do anything," he said. "And that will eventually wash out as it's started to already."

Ever notice Christie never says what he stands for but always speaks in vague generalities. Kinda reminds me hope and change Obama.

Newt has his problems, but one of the good things about Newt is that he is willing to expose the press as an activist hit team for the Left.

Christie has his problems, but one of the good things about Christie is ...

hang on, I'm gonna need more time ...

You're kind of making Christie's point.

For all of Newt's positive qualities, the guy hasn't won an election since Peyton Manning's rookie year in the NFL.

Go shove another Krispy Kreme in your pie hole.

Another go-along-to-get-along, limp-wristed, bed-wetting, panty-waisted, elitist we don’t need.

We need to FIGHT!! And that means fighting the media elites that shove milquetoasts like Christie down our throats!

Yes. That's what Christie said. Right after he spent much of his latest press conference attacking the press. (They really do deserve it, and much much more!)

the mainstream media

It's the urban media, not the mainstream media. There are no streams in a city, only sewer pipes.

Conservative areas of the country generally have a population density less than 800 people per square mile. It's hard to run a profitable news media business and hire top conservative talent if the employees are so dispersed, and so are the interviewees and news makers. Most news is negative and most negative events occur in the cities, not the countryside. However the internet now makes country news media possible. News production staff can work in a virtual city but live 1,000 miles apart, and produce a product of interest outside the urban communes.

Christie does have a point, RINO’s bring the attention to themselves and the media just exploits it.

We’ll he’s right that complaining about it does nothing. But he’s wrong on the solution. We need to bankrupt the mainstream media as well as stand up our own.

Governor Christie - Tell that to Dan Rather. You’ll find him at a retirement home (or a loony bin) somewhere.
