What an odd world. We cannot count on the President or the Secretary of State to do the right thing. But evidentally we can count on an aging rock group to do the right thing.

Well, at least one Rolling Stones song has a few verses that sound pretty darn conservative.

I certainly have mixed feelings about this. I am glad that The Rolling Stones are paying no attention to a boycott of Israel. On the other hand, why are they, of all people, going to the Holy Land? I guess that if Arafat, 0.00, and Putin can go to the Holy Land, so can they.

I love Mick and the Stones and have since all of us were young.

Many years ago I use to like rock and roll, but even then I didn’t like the “Stones”. I found Mick Jagger very obnoxious.
After long years out of rock and roll and without much thought about it, except that I don’t like it, The LORD put it on my heart to pray for salvation for Mick Jagger. On and off for several years now I pray for him and trust that someday he will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
