I just got off the phone with Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Sandy Winnefeld to get the latest report on the situation at Fort Hood.
Obviously, we're following it closely. The situation is fluid right now, but my national security team is in close contact with not just the Defense Department, but the FBI. They are working with folks on the ground to determine exactly what happened, to make sure that everybody is secure. And I want to just assure all of us that we are going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened.
You know, any shooting is trouble.

On Wednesday evening, President Obama was being kept up to date on the developments from the mass shooting at Fort Hood while reportedly attending fundraisers for the 2014 election cycle. ....
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Obama was originally slated to attend a private dinner for three between the two fundraisers, with Obama’s water and food carted in exclusively for him. The other two members of the dinner soiree will be Mayor Rahm Emanuel and former Obama top advisor David Axelrod. The first event took place at 4:45 PM CT, with tickets running $32,400 per person. Obama is slated to attend another Democratic National Committee fundraiser tonight, with 55 members of the audience all shelling out $10,000 per plate.
We know what Obama’s priorities are.
We are awake. The puzzle is how to wake those who voted for him twice. I really wish I knew the solution. Right now they are safe in mom's basement. When mom dies and the bank takes the house we might have a shot.

The graphic makes it clear that the shots were made over open ground, and not at all errant/lucky.
so was he legitimately elected to two terms..I am doubtful..it is a sad world that we can't trust the president, Congress, and the MSM…for they all lie to the American public, any more when Hussein Obama comes on TV I change channels. Once you are known as a Liar, you will never be trusted or believed again.

Can’t tell if what was used is an AK47 variant (generic “assault weapon”) or a Dragunov (which can be construed as an “assault weapon”, but is designed for sniping). I’m guessing the latter, as the distance was near exactly 600m.
What’s shocking is that involves what we may safely presume is an idiot driving up to a street-level open-access point, at 4 hours past sunset, firing 9 rounds, and hitting a residence window - _and_getting_away_, found only because the idiot _abandoned_his_car_, weapons included, about 2km away. No wonder the occupant is paranoid.
