A shot fired at Kent State University Wednesday that sent the campus into lockdown stemmed from a domestic dispute between the suspect and two women, Kent State Police said this morning.

Kent police arrested 24-year-old Quavaugntay Tyler, a freshman, after they said he pulled out a gun and accidentally shot himself in the hand during an argument with two women.
