I think old Thad is about to finally learn what the Tea Party is.
I just hope if McDaniel wins the nomination, he doesn’t find some way to deep-six his candidacy as Bevin did in KY.
A 36 year incumbent. Gee, anyone think he’s part of the problem?
What ?
What happened to Bevin? I just mailed him a donation Monday.
25 percent have never heard of McDaniel

Wait a minute.... 400 “likely Primary voters” were surveyed and 25 percent have never heard of Chris McDaniel. LOL.... Trust me, that 25 percent will NOT be voting in the Primary.
Underestimate “old Thad” at your own peril. He doesn’t keep getting re-elected by accident. You can bet your bottom dollar that many very rich and very powerful folks in the Magnolia State want to continue doin’ bidness with Ol’ Thad, and will do whatever is necessary to keep him in office.
Ping.
37 percent said McDaniel, whereas 45 percent said Cochran.

I’m not a “math” person, but 37 + 45 = 82 percent. That means 18 percent are undecided. A very large percentage of The Undecided Vote always goes to the Challenger in a political race. So, it’s looking good for Chris McDaniel.
I just hope...McDaniel.....doesnt find some way to deep-six his candidacy as Bevin did in KY.

OK, refresh my memory Scott. What did Bevin do?
Bevin appeared and spoke at a pro-cockfighting gathering and tried to shrug it away with a states-rights argument. It's easy to blow such an even off... once you're already elected, but when you're trying to sell yourself as someone who will ably represent the interests of the citizens of the state, that sales job gets far more difficult.
He won't. He's Ted Cruz smart.
I met him person.
If he’s pulled to that close, the point is that it’s becoming a race. And that’s what McDaniels needs to defeat Thad. But pulling 36% in a Tea-Party-friendly poll is NOT neck and neck.
FYI. We're NOT misunderestimating OLD FOSSIL THAD at all.
We're trying our level best to get out the vote for Chris McDaniel to overcome the corrupt old fossils for THAD, like Haley Barbour and his cronies
As a matter of fact and FYI, Chris McDaniel is the first actual and worthy opponent OLD FOSSIL has encountered, so thank you very much for trying to take the wind out of our sails.
I did not realize there was a pro cockfighting lobby. Who is in to cockfighting besides Mexicans these days?
I guess my two questions would be: 1. Did he know what the folks at the gathering represented? 2. Is cock fighting legal in KY? If the answer to #2 is in the affirmative, then I’d have to say all citizens deserve the opportunity to participate in the election process and he has the right to speak to ALL the people who will be part of his constituency if he gets elected. As far as I’m concerned, he has the right to campaign at a Hell’s Angel bar or a gay bar; if he so chooses.
Who is in to cockfighting besides Mexicans these days?

Red Necks.....and possibly Michael Vick.
