Mozilla's Anti-Gay-Marriage CEO Is Out
Business Insider ^ | 04/03/2014 | Jay Yarow

Posted on 04/03/2014 1:32:37 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

Mozilla's CEO Brendan Eich is out. Eich is resigning as CEO and leaving the board of Mozilla, the open-source computing company that makes the Firefox browser.

He had been under fire for supporting anti-gay marriage legislation in California in 2008.

Some Mozilla employees had been calling for his resignation on Twitter for the past week.

Dating site OkCupid changed its home page so that if someone using Firefox came to it, it would tell them about Eich and suggest they switch browsers.

I suggest doing the same thing about the intolerant pro-homo zealots who pull this crap. Just do their own game against them. They will just not be able to take their own medicine.

Thankfully our Founders created the First Amendment, making what they do to opponents illegal on its face.

I'm not sure I follow the "illegal" part. The First Amendment limits what the Government can do, not private parties. Private parties can criticize and boycott whoever they want.

Wonder if they’ve ever heard of the concept of reprisal?

...and you have the right to criticize and boycott right back at them.

... then, when the "tolerance" they achieved from the other 97 percent of Americans wasn't enough, the homosexual bullies demanded "acceptance" -- that is, "normality" -- in society.

Now that they've achieved acceptance, it's still not enough. Now the bullies are demanding -- not asking for, but demanding -- that the 97 percent celebrate their homosexual behavior. What's left?

At least someone out there understands what the mark of the beast is beyond the conspiratorial ideas of imbedded chips and barcodes.

If you do not think and act in accordance with the Beast - you will not be allowed to make a living, shop, eat or drink.

In short - you will be denied what it takes to live if you do not seig-heil the Beast.

This one tentacle is a pink swastika - but do not be fooled, the entire Left is a giant blood-sucking swastika and it will be as eager to send you to death camps as their Socialist Workers Patty predecessors were the Jews.

“Uh.. No. Stop using Mozilla.”

We need a list of technology companies that are Pro Family and against Gay Marriage.

java is junk. It makes for terrible websites.

Java and Javascript are two completely different software languages. JAVA is used heavily on the back-end, Server side. Javascript is desgined into the browsers (client-side.)

I think you’re right.

Opera claims to be made by Opera Software. And Wiki has it as the third most popular browser.

From wikipedia: “Opera is a web browser developed by Opera Software. The latest versions of Opera use the Blink layout engine. Earlier versions used Opera Software’s proprietary Presto layout engine and had additional Internet suite features such as sending and receiving e-mail messages, managing contacts, chatting on IRC, downloading files via BitTorrent, and reading web feeds. Opera is offered free of charge for personal computers and mobile devices. According to Opera Software, the browser has over 300 million monthly users worldwide.[7]

“Opera is the third most popular mobile web browser as of November 2013.[8] Opera Mini has been chosen as the manufacturer’s default integrated web browser in several mobile handsets.[9][10][11]

Understood. But they strive to get the government to illegally criminalize our First Amendment rights. It’s basically a conspiracy of illegality.

I’ve used Opera and it works pretty good. So does Safari. Firefox is my favorite but I’m giving it up because of this. I’m tired of the normal people of this country being persecuted when they dare to stand up for what they believe. I posted as much on Mozilla’s Facebook page too.

Opera’s a Norwegian company. I’ve been using it since 2009. Best browser I’ve had since ol’ Netscape in the 90s.

So now we have somebody being driven out of his job by a leftwing pressure group for a private political donation years ago that had nothing whatsoever to do with the company.

Oh, I forgot...the personal is the political. This was a big leftwing mantra back in the 60s and 70s.

The problem is that in those days, the people who chanted this mantra were a bunch of flakes who only controlled others like them or people stupid enough to have been associated with them...but now they’re running the country.

People need to talk seriously about this. The country is going to break apart anyhow. The question is only on what terms it will be divided.

I'm facing a similar, ominous situation. I may have to resign from an editorial position on account of an open lesbian wanting me to post news about her, ahem, "wedding" -- in a Jewish newsletter. On top of this, she wants to call it a "Jewish" wedding.

As liberals are soon to learn, there are issues that cannot be resolved. Or resolved the way they would like.

Unfortunately, conservatives are going to go through a crucible. The job market, tough as it is now, will not be easy for anyone with traditional values. The high-powered, high-paying jobs in the outside world will go to these "creative" types, while the only places for everyone else will be religiously affiliated.
