A typical hit piece/scaremongering move by thr NYT, brought to you by the tobacco/pharm/tax officials and their lobbyist shills. E-cigs are a huge threat to some major industries, so watch as they crank up the scare tactics in a desparate attempt to mitigate the competition.

Remember one thing: it has nothing to do with public health or safety, and everything to do with protecting tax revenue and profit streams.

I sure as hell will not preach to anyone on how to quit, or get on some high horse about it, because the truth is, I would gladly smoke a 40 foot long Marlboro right now, if it were not for the horrible neuropathy I have in my feet.

I used an E cig to break my pack a day habit and then finally went cold turkey from nicotine last September.
