Brendan Eich and the New American Totalitarian State: Gay Marriage Activists force Mozilla CEO out
American Thinker ^ | 04/04/2014 | Sally Zelikovsky

Imagine going to work one day only to be, in effect, fired -- not because of anything you did or didn’t do at your job, but because of something you did in your personal life. Something religious. Or maybe, something political.

Imagine if you were denied a promotion at work because a co-worker found out you had made a personal donation to a conservative candidate. Imagine if your environmentally-correct boss discovered that, in your free time at home, you supported an organization that exposed the fallacies of man-made global warming and asked you for your resignation. Imagine if you were the successful CEO of Widget Corp, lauded and respected for your accomplishments, but clients or customers found out you were a tea partier and demanded you be forced out.

That’s exactly what happened to Brendan Eich, a highly-respected tech guru in Silicon Valley and co-founder of Mozilla Corporation, after he was appointed CEO in late March. In less than a week, he was forced out of this position for no reason other than that he had a made a $1000 contribution to the Prop 8 initiative in 2008. His own money. On his own time. In his private capacity. Mozilla had nothing to do with it. Nor did he discuss gay marriage at work.

In an interview with The Guardian on Wednesday, Eich told the paper “I think I am the best person for the job and I’m doing the job” and that his personal beliefs were not relevant. He couldn’t be more correct.

"Eich clearly has more sense in his little pinky than the “aggrieved” have collectively. But still, this is one of the saddest days in America -- a nation founded on religious liberty, a nation that has fought to protect the civil liberties of its citizens from encroachment by the state or abuse by employers, landlords and other institutions. It now seems that anyone can be punished for his or her religious, moral or political beliefs by well-funded mobs that can exert economic pressure on one’s employer. These are the tactics of closed societies behind the Iron Curtain; not the shining city on the hill."

And it's all made possible by our lawless leftist government forcing godless abortionism, homsexulaism, collectivism on our society from top down.

This is why we fight.

Do not comply! Resist!

The truth and consequences ‘homosexual deviancy’. It is anything but natural and normal. Those espousing it are deeply deceived.

*Warning: very graphic!*

“Equality is necessary for meaningful speech.”

Demonstrably false. History shows that often the most powerful speech doesn’t come from the most powerful people.

This just shows how dumb liberalism is.

I will not comply or pretend that their homosexual practices are normal. It is a deviant lifestyle chosen by them and we do not have to accept that as anything other than perverse and a blight on the general public.

Done with Mozilla forever, more for the precedent that people should be outed for their private beliefs more than anything else.

Switching to Edge browser, there is also Opera, Midori and more out there.

Wonder if the pigs will squeal when a pro gay exec gets sacked.

Lest it ever be forgotten:

In this current fascist faggot fiasco, as in every other national deviance of the past few decades, there is ONE enabler without which none of it would have been possible:

Anybody making “I LIKE EICH” buttons?

Does anyone dare make “I Like Eich” buttons?

F**King cowards. Godzilla had some real balls. Mozilla leadership only has dingleberries.

How sad, how cowardly, how typically cowered in Obama’s USSA.

I've often wondered if the divorce attorney lobby doesn't have a shadowy hand in all this. Traditional marriage rates continue to decline. Gay couples are demanding to get married. It's a potentially gigantic new revenue stream for the splitsville shysters.

Follow the money, as always.

Another victim of leftist “tolerance” goes quietly into the night. I continue to marvel at the number of conservatives who refuse to tell liberal loudmouths to stuff their degenerate rhetoric in their bongs and smoke it.

I’d like to say that I’m done with Firefox, but there really aren’t any alternatives out there from companies that respect the family. Microsoft, Apple, and Google are all friends of the deviant lobby. Small-time alternatives like Konqueror and Midori don’t have enough features to be useful.

But still, as a system administrator, my days of promoting Mozilla above everything else are over.

And I can sure as hell tell you that I’ll never go back on OKCupid.

I use mozilla now, I’ve liked it but am tech-challenged. Sometime when I have 2 free hours and I’m too relaxed to get white-knuckle frustrated, I’m going to switch out.

OKstupid lied.

Brendan Eich was not seeking to make same sex marriage a criminal offense (”illegal”). Civil unions already existed in California.

Incest (even between consenting adults and of different birth parents) is illegal. Polygamy/bigamy is illegal.

Stalinists lie. Always.

Everyone who donated to the Prop 8 initiative or voted for it, has been served public notice that their livelihood is at stake. That action is now just grounds for termination.

The witchhunt has begun on traditional Americans by radical extremists.

“Let’s see which side wins in the end.”

That might help for a “minute”. But it’s not going to be “US” who wins if “boycotting” a computer BROWSER website is our M.O. Boycotts are rarely effective in today’s world because the majority are the “go along-to-get-along” types. The results from ‘strong-arm’ tactics that the sodomites use are effective on those who have no “real” fight in em. (the Majority). And the sodomites support the (majority). We’ve got to remove the corrupt lawmakers who support the sodomites AND their supporters.

Actually they weren’t “gay”. They were homosexuals, a much longer and scientifically precise word for sodomites. Once again the language is being twisted so that it becomes meaningless and therefor not useful for thought. I’m not surprised to see that Freepers aren’t immune to this most pernicious of mind control tactics. I’d call it subtle, but it isn’t really. Like the soothing “choice” or “socialism” itself, gay has come to mean sunshine and lollipops and replaces the word the expresses the evil horror of what it is. Thereby blunting the revulsion normal people feel for it. Oh, by the way; gay was used in the Bible to mean good.

I scrubbed my pc of Mozilla. I was reading comments and recommendations on facebook, from one of the conservative pages. They ere recommending Pale Moon, saying it uses the same coding and interface of Mozilla but are not in any way associated with them. I looked into it a bit, but didn’t see a way to import bookmarks and setting. If anyone tries it and can recommend it, I would be interested in hearing abut I. In the meantime I will just use IE.

I loved Mozilla but I cannot use it any longer after this. I do need my bookmarks though.

I let Mozilla know on homepage site, and on their facebook page.

Try "Pale Moon". It's based on FF source code.
