The irony of all this is incredible, especially when you consider the stance that the US/EU take towards “far right” political parties in Western Europe who are much, much more moderate than the folks in Ukraine they are now backing. It just emphasizes that this is all about geopolitical power politics and all the sanctimonious talk about “democracy” and “freedom” in either context is nonsense.
